At Home Retreats

One to seven day guided personal retreats from your own home.


I don’t know about you, but the past few months have felt like a complete upheaval of some pretty important values in my life: sense of purpose, sense of direction, and sense of internal stability.

At first, I just went with it.  I mean, there wasn’t much else to do.  It seemed like the most important lesson we were all facing was the greatest lesson of them all: nothing is stable, ever.  When it seems like it is, it’s just an illusion and can be broken at any time.  Life is not about finding ways to build up solid ground to stand on that never changes.  It’s about learning to surf the ever changing moving tides.

“But / and……after a few months I started getting tired of feeling lost, of just being thrown around by all the waves.  I had many years of tools (thankfully) that I could put to use and try my best to get up and reset my course.

It’s an ongoing process:)

All this to say, that amidst the chaos there has also been a strong internal pull towards re-examination.  I’ve been listening to that pull as closely as I can.  Because it’s imperative, for me, to find a way to move forward with increased integrity and purpose.

I’ve had some help along the way.  I did a retreat from home, alone, guided by my teacher for a few days.  Then, I went back to my regular life, still on retreat.  For several more days I worked on realistically embedding the lessons from retreat into my everyday life.  I don’t think I have ever done anything more valuable.

Retreats have always been one of my most favorite things in the world.  I mean, how amazing to step away, get quiet, be taken care of, usually in some gorgeous setting, and receive some deep much needed nourishment?  I will continue to find those experiences incredibly valuable.  But what is also increasingly valuable is finding sustainable ways to integrate that nourishment, sense of connection and direction, into our very real, not so shiny, not so easy lives.

I’m facilitating at home personal retreats for anyone also looking for a realistic (and affordable) way to reset.

There are different models that can be tailored to your individual needs.  You can do as many days as you are able, with a combination of alone time and time integrated into your daily life.  We will work together every day as part of your retreat, including daily check ins and “homework”.  What your retreat will specifically look like will be discussed beforehand and can include private yoga lessons and guided meditations if you wish.

Financial exchange is on a sliding scale in hopes of accommodating anyone who wishes to participate.
